If there were more options to choose weights of how the player wants the AI to decide things, it would go a long way to making the game feel more fresh, as these would be weights and hard decisions the developers could place on existing, and randomly generated empires as well. It's the same crap with a different wrapper. Most people don't make an empire to be yet another Xenophile/military cookie cutter like every other randomly placed cookie cutter faction.īiggest problem with Stellaris to date, is that literally every empire feels exactly like any other empire because the limitations of how the AI use the personalities and how the AI goes about playing the game. These are options for the player to decide how the AI plays the custom created empire. I'd still like to see options and choices for personality. I really shouldn't have to pause to click a bunch of options which should honestly be already chosen via the custom creation for an empire.Ģ) Taking a page from Galactic Civilization. Especially with the new expansion Nemesis that makes many of these even more important early game. This game is based on role-playing, and having the AI act more or less how you'd expect an empire to act.ġ) Let us choose our starting Policies in the custom creation menu. I have felt this way since release years and years ago. There are some options I feel are missing from Stellaris.
